- Columbia Grotto
- The Columbia Grotto is a group of people who share a passion for the diverse underground worlds found in caves. Members' interests include mapping, scientific study, exploration, digging for caves, and artistic appreciation of caves. Grotto activities center around Calaveras and Tuolumne counties, the Motherlode area of California.

- The Desert Dog Troglodytes have regular meetings at the Ace hardware store. It is at the corner of Magnolia and Adams Ave. in Huntington Beach California on the forth Wednesday of each month starting at 7PM.

- The Diablo Grotto is a chapter of the National Speleological Society (NSS), a national organization devoted to the exploration, study, and preservation of caves and cave-related phenomena. Members are primarily from the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in the Eastern San Francisco Bay Area, California.

- The San Francisco Bay Chapter is a non-profit internal organization of the National Speleological Society known as a grotto. We are a group of like-minded individuals interested in the exploration, study and conservation of caves.
