Here is our complete listing of astronomy clubs around the country! Please use the map below to find a local club or organization in your area. If you are new to astronomy, contact an astronomy club near you and ask if you can join them on a stargaze or meeting! If you are like me, you will be introduced to some of the nicest folks around, and see some of the coolest things ever! One look at Saturn's rings or a transit of Jupiter's moons... you'll be hooked!

• Amateur Astronomers Association of Princeton - This organization of 140 + promotes astronomy-related activities for members and non-members, novice to expert. A wide spectrum of astronomy interests are explored at the AAAP through regular meetings, workshops, use of the two club observatories, and regional star parties. (Added: 26-May-2004)

• Morris Museum Astronomical Society - In January of 1972, a Celestron Schmitt Cassegrain C-8 telescope was donated by Many Bhuta to the Morris Museum.  Many had purchased the C-8 with terrestrial photography in mind,  but soon found that the C-8 would prove to be unsuitable for his purposes.  In those days, 8 inch Cassegrains were not as common as they are today, and  back yard astronomy was still, for most people, a novel concept.  (Added: 9-Jun-2004)

• Skyland Stargazers - Welcome to the home page of the Skyland Stargazers.  We are a small group of dedicated amateur astronomer based in Morris County New Jersey.  Please take the time to take a look around.  The Skylanders are a sister club to the Morris Museum Astronomical Society. • STAR Astronomy - STAR Astronomy is an astronomy club based in Monmouth County, NJ. We participate in and promote a number of astronomy-related activities, such as observing, education, and telescope making. (Added: 27-May-2004)
